A series of clips for the  HBO Documentary film Risky Drinking, illustrating drinking tendencies and the effect alcohol could have in someone's life.

 
 

Freddy Arenas is an
independent director 

Offering animation and live-action production services from his studio at the Pencil Factory in Brooklyn, NY.

Freddy's work focuses on the semantics of the visual language; he strives to create poetic relationships between image and meaning to convey ideas innovatively.

Throughout his career, he has created projects for clients such as The New York Times, MTV, Google, and HBO Documentaries.

Freddy is continuously experimenting with new techniques and concepts that push forward production methods and storytelling devices. He shares his findings and showcases his creative process via Tumblr and most recently, Instagram.

 
 

Sweatshop

The Sweatshop is a dedicated Tumblr page for personal illustrations, quick animations, gifs, and other drawing explorations.

INSTAGRAM

A place to share a newly discovered interest for live action and visual effects. Full disclosure, there may be an occasional ceramics pic or an NYC skyline popping up now and then.
