This project was created for Google Play in collaboration with California Sunday Magazine. It is part of the California Inspires Me series and focuses on musician, artist, and Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon. In this film, Kim shares her experiences growing up in California and how west coast culture influenced her artistic career.

Illustrating Kim’s stories was a great opportunity to create thought-provoking transitions showing the progression of time on a growing character.
